i really hate these.

The new 20p daily newspaper launched by The Independent. Might just be me, but I can’t stand the “i is” tagline, its just bad grammar.

After running out of my own work, stumbled across this guy’s and decided that as it was infinitely better anyway, I’d post his instead. Witty, intriguing and bordering on ridiculous, check out his films as well, particularly the one with the singing stomach.

Necrophobia Project

A solo project from 1st year, using typography to communicate a phobia, in my case necrophobia. Was back home, off uni sick, when I did this piece so didn’t get any crit, which looking back, I think I might have got a lot of. Wish I’d used handwritten typography instead of Futura, which I think makes the image seem over-clinical.

A message to Illegal Downloaders

Further group work from 1st year, a project aimed at reducing the amount of illegal downloading. We used animation as a way of trying to make ours a little less serious, it being targeted at a mostly teen audience, and didn’t want to come off too preachy.

Will try and get hold of the actual animations.
